Jimmy Miller - a truly legendary rock'n'roll maestro or just some quiffed-up dude from Lowestoft in scuffed winklepickers enjoying his fifteen minutes of fame back in 1978?

You can judge for yourself by listening to the mp3 file of his legendary track "I'm a Legend" that's been rediscovered, dusted down and digitally rejigged.

What is certainly legendary is the apparent ineptness of the backing band during some parts of the song. This was later blamed on the unexpected acoustics of the venue - according to legend - but any technical mishaps are more than compensated by the truly exhilarating performance.
