Extra cheer for beer festivalWednesday 13th June 2012
There will be extra cheer at the 2012 Great Yarmouth Beer and Cider Festival which moves into a new and larger venue.
The annual event, now in its 6th year, will be hosted at the Drill Hall on York Road from July 12th to July 15th.
The Town Centre Partnership is organising the event with the support of the Great Yarmouth Mercury. More than 70 different ales from a wide selection of breweries will be available over the weekend long event plus a large selection of the increasingly popular locally produced ciders.
The festival will be open for a number of lunch and evening sessions starting with the opening on Thursday 12th July at 6pm; a lunch time (11am-3pm) and evening (5-11pm) sessions on both Friday 13th and Saturday 14th; finishing with a lunch time session (12-3pm) on Sunday July 15th.
Live music and locally produced food will also form part of the festival as well as traditional pub games and entertainment.
