God-Aweful Racket
Tuesday 25th March 2003Pumping bass from dance music played at the Gas Mark9 club in the basement of the Savoy Restaurant on Regent Road is upsetting priests at the nearby St Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Father Gordon Williams has made repeated complaints to the management, who say they have made every effort to minimise the amount of sound coming out of the club. Council environmental health officers are to investigate.
