Facelift for Pier Hotel
The Pier Hotel at Gorleston is to undergo a major facelift before the summer season gets under way.
For the next two months. Much of the ground floor will be closed whiole larger bar area dn separate restaurant is created.
Owner Rodney Scott said the open-plan nature of the ground floor meant special functions had sometimes disrupted the normal running of the hotel.
The bar will stay open and serve food throughout the work and the hotel wiull remain open for guests.
