Bus Fares Overhaul
Monday 15th April 2002Bus fares in Lowestoft are being overhauled to simplify the system, reduce boarding times and attract more customers. A new fare zone will be introduced, covering the Town Centre, Park Hill, Oulton Village and Rock Estate, Gunton, Oulton Broad, Carlton Colville, Burnt Hill, Pakefield, Whitton and Kessingland. There'll be just two adult fares for all journeys within that zone. Fare changes will be made across the board, to cover all types of traveller.
